Chevrolet and OnStar Announce Wireless Smartphone Application at CES - New Video Available

At the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show, the auto industry's first working smartphone application was unveiled. The first-of-its-kind Mobile Application will allow Chevrolet Volt owners 24/7 connection and control of several vehicle functions and OnStar features remotely. The new application enables drivers to communicate with their electric vehicle from Droid by Motorola, Apple iPhone and Blackberry Storm smartphones. Using a real-time data connection, it performs tasks from setting the charge time to unlocking the doors. Available video includes general views of the application demo and running footage of the Volt as well as highlights from the press conference.
