Chevrolet Reduces Size and Gas Consumption With Aveo5
November 16, 2007
Los Angeles, CA
Chevrolet unveiled the 2009 Aveo5 at the L.A. Auto Show. A small car, designed to increase interior room while decreasing its exterior dimensions, the new Aveo5 is being touted as fuel-efficient with an estimated delivery of 26 miles-per-gallon (mpg) in the city and 34 mpg on the highway (when using the standard five-speed manual transmission). General Motors (GM), Chevrolet's parent company, indicated the Aveo5 is expected to be the lowest-priced car in America when it goes on sale in mid-2008.
